Our primary course of care is the “hands-on” chiropractic adjustment. This helps return the spinal joints to their proper motion. Ice, heat, and other physiotherapeutic modalities are also used to help reduce inflammation, provide relief or enhance the healing process. Exercises may also be prescribed to address problem areas. In our office, treatment is considered a partnership between the patient and the doctor.

Education:
Dr. Savage first graduated from the Credit Valley School of Nursing, Toronto, Canada. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, she worked as a registered nurse. She graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer.

Certifications:
Diplomate of the National and State Boards of Chiropractic.

Dr. Savage is also an extension faculty member in the graduate preceptor program of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. In 1998, Mira Mesa Chiropractic opened their doors to chiropractic interns, as part of the Community-based Internship (CBI) program to give interns clinical educational experience. Most recently, Dr. Savage was appointed an examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic.
